Offside Print & Apparel Returns as Sponsor for the Volunteer Lounge at the 16th Annual Craft Lake City DIY Festival Presented By Harmons

July 30, 2024, Salt Lake City, UT –  Craft Lake City is honored to receive additional support from local print company Offside Print & Apparel for the Volunteer Lounge Area at the 16th Annual Craft Lake City DIY Festival® Presented By Harmons. As a 501(c)3 nonprofit Craft Lake City thrives thanks to the dedication of volunteers who generously give their time to enhance the creative culture of Utah’s arts community. The Annual DIY Festival, the organization’s flagship event, is the largest local-centric festival in Utah, celebrating art, music, science, and technology. It takes a collaborative effort to bring this festival to life! Offside’s commitment to community building inspired them to sponsor the Volunteer Lounge at this year’s DIY Fest. They also generously donated volunteer and staff t-shirts for the event. The Craft Lake City team is excited to wear these super-soft tees while setting up, running, and dismantling the festival, as well as for months and years to come as a memento of the event.

“This is Craft Lake City’s third collaboration with Offside Print & Apparel in this capacity! Thanks to Offside’s support, we can offer our volunteers soft and comfortable shirts and a Volunteer Lounge for them to rest and rehydrate during the festival,” says Craft Lake City Volunteer Coordinator Serena Millet. She also mentions, “Coordinating the large team of volunteers needed for DIY Fest is a significant task, so it’s a pleasure to provide the team with these wonderful items and benefits thanks to Offside.”

“We are excited to be involved in the DIY Fest again this year, showcasing the power of volunteering time, energy, and resources to create something extraordinary and help strengthen local Utah community connections,” says Nate Bowen, co-founder of Offside Print & Apparel.

It’s not too late to join the volunteer program at the 16th Annual Craft Lake City DIY Festival in a variety of positions and shifts. From festival load in, load out, STEM building or Kid’s Area, it is a great way to connect with the local community. Sign up for a volunteer shift below or email volunteer@craftlakecity.com
