Craft Lake City is proud to continue its partnership with local print company Offside Print & Apparel for live screen-printing demonstrations at the 15th Annual Craft Lake City DIY Festival Presented By Harmons. In keeping with Craft Lake City’s sustainability initiative for its DIY Fest, Offside Print & Apparel will offer free hand-printed reusable tote bags for festivalgoers to use while they shop from over 330 local artisans & exhibitors.
These free tote bags will feature artwork from 5 local artisans who are participating in the DIY Fest. Each of the contributing tote bag artists will offer a custom design inspired by Craft Lake City’s 15 year anniversary of elevating Utah’s creative culture. Festival patrons will be delighted to watch the live screen printing process as Offside showcases their DIY magic. Each participating artist’s design will be printed during designated three hour increments throughout peak hours of the DIY Fest (while supplies last). Offside will have special signage at the printing booth during each artist’s feature hours to direct patrons to those exhibitors’ booths, and festivalgoers are encouraged to go meet the artists who designed their stylish new bags!
“Live printing at the festival is a great way to showcase the work and care that goes into running a DIY business,” says Nate Bowen, co-founder of Offside Print & Apparel. “We love connecting with the community through our craft, and the DIY Fest is always a great opportunity to do that.”
