The 4th Annual Craft Lake City Announces 2012 Stage Sponsors
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, July 31, 2012 –The 4th Annual Craft Lake City DIY Arts Festival, presented by SLUG Magazine and free to the public, is pleased to announce the sponsors of the stages where musicians and dancers will entertain audiences during the Sat., Aug. 11 festival at the Gallivan Center. Craft Lake City’s 90.9 FM KRCL Street Stage is sponsored by The Depot. The Depot is located in the Union Pacific building at Gateway Mall and is home to Utah’s best indoor music scene, bringing up to 70 shows a year to downtown Salt Lake City. The Depot, with a capacity of 1,200, has a state-of-the-art audio and video sound system as well as a beautifully crafted wood and stainless steel bars. About Craft Lake City: The Craft Lake City festival is an annual outdoor celebration of Utah’s DIY handmade culture. Held yearly in August at the Gallivan Center in Salt Lake City, the festival features over 200 local artisans and DIY Engineers, along with live entertainment that includes demonstrations, street performers, musical acts, and local food vendors. Throughout the year, Craft Lake City organizes various events to keep the community active and aware of local DIY culture and continues its support of local artisans through workshops, demonstrations, gallery shows and fundraisers.
