Salt Lake City, February 27–West Elm and Craft Lake City® are pleased to announce a Gold Leaf Flower Pot Workshop with local artisan Lisa Lewis of Light & Ink, scheduled to be held on Thursday, March 1, 2018 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at West Elm City Creek.
A constant creator, Lisa Lewis began Light & Ink to bring nature’s beauty into everyday spaces. Lewis has shared her knowledge and skills through past Craft Lake City workshops, and her gold-leafed objects and prints have frequented the Craft Lake City DIY Festival® held annually on the second weekend of August.
Lewis will introduce workshop attendees to the basics of working with the delicate medium of gold leafing, and each participant will embellish a small stone flower pot to take home. Craft Lake City would like to thank Cactus & Tropicals for generously providing a variety of flowers for this workshop.
“Teaching these workshops through Craft Lake City is a blast,” says Lewis. “Craft Lake City is always organized, helpful and cheerful. I’ve taught several workshops over the years, and each time, I walk away thinking I’d love to do that again.”
Pre-registration for the Gold Leaf Flower Pot workshop is required. There is a $35 workshop materials fee. For tickets and workshop policies, visit craftlakecity.com/worskhops.
