About Candace Jean: I grew up in a creative family with five younger siblings and two very artistic parents, submerged in an environment that cultivated imagination and a curiosity for my surroundings. Still today a wonder of the natural world remains with a fervid fascination of flora and fauna. My art is inspired by these things as well as an admiration for the work of great European masters, the Victorian Era, folklore, children’s fairy tales and historic fashion.I am a self-taught artist and enjoy working with various mediums. I currently resides on the outskirt of a small township near Salt Lake City.
