“I’m thrilled with the DIY Engineer exhibits in the Google Fiber STEM Building at this year’s Craft Lake City DIY Festival,” says Jessica Thesing, STEM Building Manager. “Our exhibits this year include 3-D printing, robotics, synthesizers, radio production, drones, solar-powered vehicles, coding technology, musical instruments, DIY product demos, and much more. These interactive exhibits let festival-goers experience technology hands-on, which is what do-it-yourself is truly all about.”
The DIY Festival will be held Friday, Aug. 12, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.; Saturday, Aug. 13, from noon to 10 p.m.; and Sunday, Aug. 14, from noon to 7 p.m. In addition to STEM exhibits, the festival features over 250 artisans, craft foodies, and performers. Tickets can be purchased at 24tix.com. The festival is FREE for kids 12 and under.
