Salt Lake City, March 3 – Craft Lake City® is pleased to announce the first ever Ogden-based Application Assistance Day event for the 12th Annual Craft Lake City DIY Festival®. The free event will be held at Weber County Main Library on Saturday, March 14th from 10:00 a.m.–noon.
Application Assistance Days are an initiative of the Craft Lake City DIY Festival Inclusion Program, developed as part of the organization’s overall diversity and inclusion strategy. The goal of the Craft Lake City DIY Festival Inclusion Program is to support individuals from underrepresented and/or socially or economically excluded communities in order to provide all local makers with opportunities to creatively and economically thrive.
Craft Lake City’s Application Assistance Days are open to anyone who would like assistance applying for the 12th Annual Craft Lake City DIY Festival. Craft Lake City staff are on hand to help answer questions and make the process painless. Additionally, we provide free professional photography services to help you show your work at its best. Our photographer will help stage and photograph your items, and will provide you with a handful of professional quality photos that are yours to keep and use at no cost.
New this year, Craft Lake City is expanding this program to Ogden. The Application Assistance Day in Ogden will be held at the Weber County Main Library (2464 Jefferson Ave, Ogden, UT 84401) in Classroom B on Saturday March 14th from 10am until Noon. This event is free and open to anyone who is planning to apply to the 12th Annual Craft Lake City DIY Festival held on Friday August 7th, Saturday August 8th and Sunday August 9th.
