Each year, the Craft Lake City DIY Festival hosts a range of performers across two stages: The SLUG Mag (main) stage and the KRCL stage. The 2021 edition of the festival is no outlier, with both stages packed to the brim with over 40 musicians, dancers and more split between them.

Positioned directly south of the Festival’s main entrance, the SLUG Mag stage features performances from a range of varied and diverse artists. Ahead of the Friday night headlining performance from Ritt Momney, catch the smooth funk of Beatnik, the cross-cultural fusions of A&A Bollypop and Icky Rogers’ laidback hip-hop. In addition to our showcase of three different Pacific Island performers (Kanani Pua Dance, PHL Learning and Kehaulani Hula Studio) as part of the DIY Festival’s Pacific Island Heritage Day celebration, Saturday will find a host of rock, punk and folk musicians taking the SLUG Mag stage: Drew Danburry, Nicole Canaan and Backhand among them. Sunday continues the momentum, with an eclectic mix of indie folk (Salduro), psych rock (The Fervors) and traditional Latin American music and dance (Expresion Andina Cultures & Traditions).

Tucked into the southeast corner of the Festival between the Makers Building and the Google Fiber Stem Building, The KRCL stage boasts another collection of artists overflowing with creativity, talent and panache. From the Friday night hard-rock showcase of La La Diabla, Rifamos, Milk Money and Savage Daughters to Saturday’s pop performances from Nicole McMahan, SONIALOXO and Marqueza, from hip-hop artists Free Mind Movement and The Pho3nix Child to Sunday evening’s R&B double bill of Angie Petty and Bri Ray, the KRCL stage offers another dazzling collection of Utah music sure to enliven the Festival environment.
