Salt Lake City, November 23, 2021 – #GivingTuesday, the global day of generosity, is Tuesday, November 30, 2021. Craft Lake City, along with dozens of other Utah nonprofits, will be raising awareness (and funds) from the community in conjunction with this day of giving. Craft Lake City is a nonprofit organization with the mission to elevate the creative culture of the Utah arts community through science, technology and art. From producing large-scale events like the Annual DIY Festival and the Annual Holiday Market, to public art exhibitions like Celebration of the Hand, affordable year-round artisan workshops, diversity & inclusion programs like our Artisan Scholarships and Sponsored Families, the Craft Lake City team is busy serving the community throughout the year. As a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, Craft Lake City relies very heavily on individual contributions to fund their mission to elevate Utah’s creative culture.

What is GivingTuesday?
GivingTuesday is a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity year-round.
Why you should be covering GivingTuesday:

- Utah has ranked the most charitable state in the US in both 2020 and 2021 according to WalletHub
-
- Recent data shows that people are highly motivated to give in 2021, and are giving more in response to needs in their community and for causes they care about.
