CRAFT LAKE CITY ANNOUNCES EXHIBITORS FOR THE 7th ANNUAL CRAFT LAKE CITY DIY FESTIVAL PRESENTED BY HARMONS & KEN GARFF FIAT
SALT LAKE CITY, Friday, June 12 — Craft Lake City is excited to announce this year’s participating exhibitors for the 7th annual DIY Festival presented by Harmons and Ken Garff Fiat. The festival will feature over 200 artisans, craft foodies, vintage vendors, commercial vendors and non-profit organizations.
The DIY Festival is a two-day festival held annually at the Gallivan Center, located at 239 S. Main Street, on Aug. 7 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Aug. 8 from noon to 10 p.m.
After receiving almost 500 applications, the Craft Lake City jury underwent the difficult task of selecting this year’s participating exhibitors. The accepted applicants represent a wide range of Utah’s DIY movement. Attendees of the two-day festival can expect to find items such as handmade and up-cycled clothing, crocheted goods, lighting displays, furniture, screen-printed designs, handmade body care products, stencil artwork, photography, jewelry and much more.
In addition to the accepted exhibitors, Craft Lake City will showcase the work of DIY engineers in our STEM Building sponsored by Google. DIY engineers include individuals creating robotics, bicycles, alternative energy ideas and LED lighting solutions.
DIY engineers, commercial food vendors, food trucks, performers and busker applications will remain open through June 15, 2014, and will be announced Sunday, June 21, 2015 via Twitter. Participants in these categories will be listed on CraftLakeCity.com the following day.
