Craft Lake City is pleased to announce that applications are now open to potential exhibitors for the 1st Annual Craft Lake City® Holiday Market, being held at The Monarch in the Nine Rails Creative District in Ogden, UT on Saturday, December 7, 2019 from 11 am to 6 pm. As part of its mission to educate, promote and inspire local artisans while elevating the creative culture of the Utah arts community through science, technology and art, Craft Lake City is expanding programmatic offerings to Ogden, Utah in Weber County. With the goal of building upon the success of the Annual Craft Lake City DIY (Do-It-Yourself) Festival in Salt Lake City, this event will provide Utah-based artisans, craft foodies, and vintage vendors with an opportunity to exhibit their wares in the Northern Utah region.

“Ogden has such a rich artistic culture and a long history of supporting the arts,” says Angela H. Brown, Executive Director of Craft Lake City. “The Craft Lake City Holiday Market will provide a chance for Utah artisans to gain additional exposure in the region and for Weber and surrounding counties to bolster the creative economy of their areas.”

Craft Lake City is eager to expand programming to Northern Utah residents.

The inaugural event will be held at The Monarch, the multi-purpose creative epicenter of Ogden’s Nine Rails Creative District that includes a restaurant, artist studios and space for culturally enriching events.

“The Monarch is pleased to partner with Craft Lake City for their inaugural Holiday Market,” says Thaine Fischer of Fischer-Regan Enterprises, developer of The Monarch building. “ It’s the goal of The Monarch to make an environment where artists, creative businesses and makers of all types can connect while providing the region with uniquely artful experiences through artist engagement and memorable events. This is a natural partnership for us.”
