Applications Are Now Open for the 17th Annual Craft Lake City DIY Festival Presented By Harmons!

Salt Lake City, UT – October 9, 2024 – Craft Lake City invites all Utah-based makers, foodies, STEM creators, artisans, vintage vendors, performers & youth entrepreneurs to apply to the 17th Annual Craft Lake City DIY Festival Presented By Harmons

The DIY Fest will take place on Fri., Aug. 8, Sat., Aug. 9 and Sun., Aug. 10 at the Utah State Fairpark. Through this celebration of DIY culture, Craft Lake City seeks to spotlight an incredible array of local talent in a vibrant festival setting. The DIY Festival, Utah’s largest local-centric art, music, science and technology festival, offers local makers the opportunity to exhibit and sell handmade wares, network with other creative businesses in their community and gain new experiences. 

Applications are now OPEN to Utah residents until April 2, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. MST.

Now Accepting Applications For These Exhibitor Categories:

  • Artisans: Makers offering handcrafted wares like ceramics, embroidery & fiber arts, artwork, jewelry, apparel, stationery, bath/body/apothecary items and more
  • Vintage Vendors: Curators of vintage clothing and/or housewares that predate 2000
  • Craft Foodies: Makers offering handmade pre-packaged baked goods, treats, sauces, candies and bottled handcrafted drinks.
  • Performers: Bands, solo artists, dance companies, performance art groups, multicultural groups, buskers and street performers. 
  • STEM Exhibitors: DIY engineers, STEM clubs, tinkerers, Utah-Based STEM businesses, university groups, non-profit organizations & government agencies.
  • Commercial Food Vendors: Food trucks & booths offering made-to-order meals or craft beverages in a high volume. 
  • Youth Entrepreneurs: Makers ages 18 and under who would like to sell their handmade goods in a real-world festival environment.
