Craft Lake City Announces Partnership with Mark Miller Subaru for Makers Mart Mixer at Millcreek Common

Craft Lake City® and Mark Miller Subaru are thrilled to present the Makers Mart Mixer Sponsored By Mark Miller Subaru— a free community event and the grand opening celebration for the Second Annual Craft Lake City Makers Mart at Millcreek Common. Featuring artisans from the Makers Mart and participants from the upcoming 17th Annual Craft Lake City DIY Festival Presented By Harmons, the mixer will take place Friday, May 2, 2025 from 6–8 p.m. at the Public Market at Millcreek Common.

Supporting local creativity is at the heart of what we do at Mark Miller Subaru,” says Nate Lindquist, Marketing Director at Mark Miller Subaru. “We’re proud to partner with Craft Lake City to bring the Makers Mart Mixer to life—an event that previews the incredible talent found at the Craft Lake City DIY Fest.”

The Makers Mart Mixer invites the public to kick off the market by meeting and supporting the 40 selected makers from the Second Annual Craft Lake City Makers Mart and the hundreds of past and future exhibitors from the Annual Craft Lake City DIY Festival Presented By Harmons. Attendees can shop handmade goods from local artisans and enjoy an evening of live music by DJ Robin Banks (also a DIY Fest Alum), delicious food trucks, community, games, giveaways and complimentary roller skating.

“Our partnership with Mark Miller Subaru allows us to amplify our mission of celebrating local creativity and building community connection,” said Angela H. Brown, Executive Director of Craft Lake City. “Their support of the Makers Mart Mixer helps create a welcoming space where Utah makers, supporters and neighbors can come together to kick off a season of creativity and culture.”

The Second Annual Craft Lake City Makers Mart at Millcreek Common is open daily through May 27, 2025, and features handcrafted goods from 40 Utah-based artisans. Located inside the Public Market at Millcreek Common, the curated market offers a cash-and-carry shopping experience designed to elevate and support Utah’s creative economy.
