Salt Lake City, October 5 – The Natural History Museum of Utah and Craft Lake City present the October Herbal Infusion Workshop with Amy Menzel of Root + Rise Botanicals. The workshop will be held at the Natural History Museum of Utah on Wednesday, October 5, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Amy Menzel, owner and operator of Root + Rise Botanicals, started her company to provide a better product to pamper her newborn. Since its inception, Root + Rise Botanicals has offered a line of nourishing and natural items to enliven the body and swaddle the mind in a loving botanical blanket. At this workshop, participants will learn how to create their own therapeutic herbal oil infusions and how to use their oils to indulge their body and soul.
“I’m so stoked to be teaching another Craft Lake City workshop,” says Menzel. “ The practice of herbal body oiling is highly grounding and relaxing, a perfect addition to every fall regime. For this workshop, we will also study the practice of herbal body oiling through the eyes of Ayurveda, taking time to connect to the earth,bringing calmness to settle into cooler temperatures and to treat the body and skin.”

If you wish to be added to the waitlist please arrive 15 minutes before the workshop begins and check in with our Workshop Coordinator. You will be added to the waitlist to take the place of an absent participant’s spot. First-come, first-served. Waitlisters are not guaranteed admittance.
