Salt Lake City, Dec. 2 – The Natural History Museum of Utah and Craft Lake City present the final installment of the Viking Workshop Series. Join us in December for the Viking-Style Jewelry Workshop with jewelry artisan Annika Quinn. The workshop will be held at the Natural History Museum of Utah on Saturday, Dec. 2, from 12 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Annika Quinn began making jewelry out of a necessity when she was unable to find what she was looking for in stores. Quinn’s work looks to empower wearers by offering an aesthetic quality and unique features. Self-described as old-school-meets-new-school, Quinn’s process for creating each piece is truly unique.

“I love Craft Lake City and the opportunities it gives local artists,” says Quinn. “It also gives people rad opportunities to learn a new craft and empowers them to create.” Participants will create a Viking-style brooch of jewelry using metalsmith techniques taught by Annika Quinn.

There is a $45 material fee. Pre-registration is required. Register here. Visit our website or our Facebook for more information. The Natural History Museum of Utah is located at 301 Wakara Way, Salt Lake City, UT 84108.
