Kid Row: Empowering Young Utah Makers at the 13th Annual Craft Lake City DIY Festival Presented By Harmons

Salt Lake City, UT – August 8, 2021 Craft Lake City announces Kid Row, a program highlighting young local artisans at the at the 13th Annual Craft Lake City DIY Festival Presented By Harmons, taking place Saturday, August 14 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Utah State Fairpark (1000 West North Temple, Salt Lake City, UT 84107). Kid Row will take place in the grassy area near the North Entrance of the DIY Festival grounds.Craft Lake City launched Kid Row in 2017 at the Annual Craft Lake City DIY Festival to give young creatives in Utah ages 14 and under an opportunity to participate as official festival artisans. This year, 30 featured local artisans will display in Kid Row, presenting work that spans various categories including artwork, skincare and body products, ceramics, craft food and more. Kid Row gives young entrepreneurs the opportunity to share their work in a large festival setting, while teaching them many business skills. This also serves as a great platform for networking and collaboration between these artistic youths.

In this fun, vibrant festival setting, Craft Lake City spotlights handmade talent from all across the state of Utah, championing small businesses and makers while fueling the local economy. Packed to the brim with local passion and artistic fervor, the Craft Lake City DIY Festival truly has something for everybody.
