KUAA 99.9 FM Joins as a First-Time Sponsor of the GoFHA Stage at the 17th Annual Craft Lake City DIY Festival Presented By Harmons

Craft Lake City is excited to announce the return of The Gallery of Fine Hyper Art (GoFHA) Stage for its second year at the 17th Annual Craft Lake City® DIY Festival® Presented By Harmons. This year, the GoFHA Stage welcomes a new presenting sponsor:  KUAA 99.9 FM. This marks KUAA’s first year sponsoring a stage at the DIY Festival, which will take place August 8, 9 and 10, 2025 at the Utah State Fairpark.

The GoHFA Stage Presented By KUAA will feature dozens of performers spanning a variety of genres and style, with the full lineup set to be announced July 2, 2025.

KUAA is proud to be a stage sponsor of the GoFHA stage at DIY Fest,” says KUAA Operations Manager, Nate McQuivey. “At KUAA we believe that music is the universal language. Craft Lake City’s GoFHA stage gives local musicians the opportunity to share their craft of musical communication with Festival attendees and we’re excited to support that.”

KUAA 99.9 FM’s daily radio programs highlight and celebrate musical, cultural, linguistic and artistic diversity. Festival-goers can meet KUAA’s DJs and volunteers who execute this programming, at their booth, located on the grassy area by the stages and tune in at 99.9 FM or stream live at kuaafm.org.

The Gallery of Fine Hyper Art (GoFHA), founded by local musician David Payne, has been a beloved part of DIY Fest for years, previously featured in the GFiber STEM Building. GoFHA celebrates “hyper art”—handcrafted, arcade-style video games that break from traditional development to explore playful, artistic innovation inside of a converted passenger van. This passenger van, housing the interactive arcade exhibit, is placed next to their stage showcasing emerging Utah performers. Festival attendees are encouraged to play the arcade games at any time during Festival hours.

Live entertainment is such an integral part of the DIY Fest experience,” says the Executive Director of Craft Lake City, Angela H. Brown. “It brings people together, including families, by providing an all-ages, outdoor festival environment. It is difficult for local performers to find opportunities like this.
