SALT LAKE CITY, May 13, 2014 — The Natural History Museum of Utah and Craft Lake City are excited to announce that the May 2014 Apothecary Kit workshop with Amy Hyde Smith has sold out. The apothecary workshop is the second workshop in a series of five being held at the Natural History Museum of Utah throughout this year.
Local apothecary Amy Hyde Smith will teach workshop participants how to make modern day elixirs and bath products, by using natural elements such as herbs, clays and oils. Participants will be making their own dry shampoo and facemasks out of Utah’s famous Bentonite Clay. Materials for the workshop will be provided by Redmond Trading Company.
The workshop will be held Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at the Natural History Museum of Utah from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
