Announcing the New Craft Lake City Workshop
“Macraweave” Mini Wall Hangings
with Marti Woolford of Marti Makes
Salt Lake City, UT – July 22, 2021 Craft Lake City is thrilled to partner with Valley Fair for the newest workshop, “Macraweave” Mini Wall Hangings with Marti Woolford of Marti Makes. Happening on Wed., Aug. 18 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. at the Valley Fair Mall (3601 S 2700 W, West Valley City, UT 84119) this workshop is only $39.
In this workshop attendees will discover the latest fiber trend, macraweave: a dynamic combination of macramé and weaving! Attendees will learn fundamental macrame knot-tying skills along with basic weaving techniques. Utilizing both of these methods, participants will each create a gorgeous contemporary wall hanging that’s full of texture and color, each one unique in style!
Craft Lake City has partnered with Valley Fair for the summer of 2021 to provide the community with four craft workshops in Valley Fair’s newly remodeled Town Center. These workshops will be held between June and September of 2021. This “Macraweave” Mini Wall Hanging workshop is one of the innovative and creative workshops that will happen over the course of four months. Valley Fair offers over 830,000 square feet of shopping, dining and entertainment for workshop attendees to enjoy before class. The workshops will be held outside, so please dress accordingly! Face masks will be optional for this event.
