Craft Lake City is excited to announce the return of the Dog Oasis to the the 17th Annual Craft Lake City DIY Festival Presented By Harmons, made possible for the second year thanks to their generous sponsor, PupTub Club!
As one of the few dog-friendly festivals in Utah, Craft Lake City’s DIY Festival invites attendees to celebrate local creativity with their furry, four-legged friends by purchasing a dog ticket. When pups need a break, a play session or time to do their business, they can unwind at the Dog Oasis: a relaxing 50-by-50 foot grassy area featuring fresh water, shade, a designated potty area, treats and more. Made possible by the PupTub Club, the Dog Oasis provides a comfortable retreat for human humans as well, offering refreshing desserts and artisan coffees.
PupTub Club is a social and recreational club for dogs and their owners, with dog washing and grooming services, a dog park and a cafe. Locations are in Salt Lake City and Cottonwood Heights.
“We’re very excited to partner with Craft Lake City again for the DIY Fest! We really went all out this year!” says Michelle Baldwin, owner of PupTub Club. “We just try to treat every dog like it’s our own, that’s the PupTub Club experience. We bring a wide range of activities and amenities for all dogs to enjoy!
Well-behaved, rabies-vaccinated dogs are welcome at the DIY Fest with the purchase of a dog ticket. All dogs must remain on a non-retractable leash at all times and may not be left unattended or in vehicles on festival grounds.
Before attending, pet owners must complete Craft Lake City’s Dog Owner Liability Release Form. Service animals are always welcome and do not require a dog ticket for entry.
“As a dog owner myself, I value the opportunity to bring my best friend, Hondo, with me to special events,” says Angela H. Brown, Executive Director of Craft Lake City. “Working with PupTub Club lets us ensure that well-behaved animals enjoy the festival with their owners while manifesting a dog-friendly space.
