SALT LAKE CITY, Aug. 9 – Craft Lake City and Salt Lake County announce free parking for 2016 festival attendees of the 8th Annual DIY Festival.
Due to the amazing growth Craft Lake City has experienced since its inception in 2009, the goals of the organization have become more focused on better serving the patrons of our festival. The first Craft Lake City DIY Festival boasted an attendance number of 3,500 people, and in 2014, the DIY Festival saw an attendance of 40,000 attendees. To accommodate the public, Craft Lake City has worked with Salt Lake County to offer free parking at the 222 Main St. building across the street from the Gallivan center. Parking is first-come first-serve, and will be open the evening of Friday, Aug. 12 and throughout Aug. 13 and 14, all day.
“We are thrilled to have Salt Lake County offer up hundreds of free parking spaces for our DIY Festival,” says Executive Director for Craft Lake City, Angela Brown.
The Craft Lake City DIY Festival is a three-day festival held annually at the Gallivan Center, located at 239 S. Main Street. Single-day tickets are $5 each; the three-day festival pass is $10 each; and three-day VIP Patio tickets are $50. The 2016 DIY Festival will be held at the Gallivan Center, 239 S.
