Salt Lake City, Oct. 9 — Craft Lake City and Harmons Grocery present the October Mini Pie Workshop with Amanda Anderson of Sprinkle and Dash. The workshop will be held on Monday, Oct. 9, at Harmons City Creek from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Since a young age, Amanda Anderson has had a passion for making treats. Starting with a rice crispy treat and lemonade stand in her parents’ driveway, she eventually went on to graduate with a degree in the culinary arts and work in a Parisian cake shop. Anderson now serves the masses with her company, Sprinkle & Dash, specializing in cakes and catering for special events. At this workshop, participants will learn how to bake and take home two full-sized, delicious autumnal pies to enjoy with families and friends.
“Someone’s in the kitchen,” says Craft Lake City Event and Education Coordinator Wesley Spry. “And they are baking up something delicious. Amanda is one of our best bakers, and we are excited to learn the art of pie from her. Join us at Harmons and impress your friends and family this holiday season with these beautiful delicacies.”
This workshop aims to compel participants of all skillsets to indulge in their creative sides and learn to make a sweet treat from scratch. Workshop participants will learn how to make and bake two 4” mini pies and be given recipes to replicate their perfect pie at home.
There is a $35 material fee for this workshop, which includes pie-making education and supplies to make two mini pies. Pre-registration is required. Register here. Visit craftlakecity.com/workshops or our Facebook for more information.
