Kid Row Heads North for the Seventh Annual Holiday Market!

Craft Lake City is excited to announce that Kid Row, its beloved youth popup market, will be part of the Seventh Annual Craft Lake City Holiday Market for the very first time. Kid Row, which has delighted audiences for years at the Annual Craft Lake CIty DIY Festival Presented By Harmons, provides creative entrepreneurs ages 18 and younger the opportunity to showcase and sell their handmade goods. The special holiday edition of Kid Row will take place at Ogden Union Station on Saturday December 6, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Youth makers ages 18 and under are encouraged to apply now at craftlakecity.com to be considered for participation in the Holiday Market edition of Kid Row before the September 17 application deadline.

Since 2017, Kid Row has provided hundreds of young creatives with a platform to share their work while gaining hands-on experience in small business skills such as customer service, market research, pricing and branding. For the first year, this opportunity is coming to Ogden as part of the Holiday Market.

Thanks to the expansion of the Youth Entrepreneur Program Powered By VentureLab into Weber County this fall, a new group of young makers will join Kid Row. This free five-week afterschool course for ages 12-18 teaches small business essentials through five art and entrepreneurial workshops, attentive mentorship and a practice market. The program culminates with participants debuting their creative businesses at Kid Row.

Kid Row will feature a wide variety of unique handmade goods including jewelry, prints, stickers, crochet creations, ceramics and more. The experience empowers young entrepreneurs in an encouraging market to grow their skills and connect with a supportive community.

Craft Lake City is proud to collaborate with Utah Afterschool Network, VentureLab and the Weber County Public Library to support and uplift these young makers and entrepreneurs.

Kid Row makes its Holiday Market debut on Saturday, December 6 at the Union Station in Ogden from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Craft Lake City invites the community to celebrate the next generation of makers, discover fresh talent and kick off the holiday season together.

Youth makers ages 18 and under who are interested in participating can apply now at craftlakecity.com.
