Virtual Application Assistance Day for the
13th Annual Craft Lake City DIY Festival
Presented By Harmons

Salt Lake City, UT – Although the COVID-19 pandemic has halted our in-person events at the moment, Craft Lake City® is as dedicated as ever to supporting and assisting the Utah creative community. Therefore, Craft Lake City will be offering one LAST Virtual Application Assistance Day for the 13th Annual Craft Lake City DIY Festival® Presented By Harmons on Monday, April 5 at 6 p.m. The event is free and open to the public, but online registration is required to participate.

Craft Lake City team members will be virtually ready to help answer all applicant questions, walk through the website and application process, and offer a short tutorial about how to take the best product photos from home. Specific virtual meeting details can be located on our website.

“We are excited to offer one LAST virtual Application Assistance Event for any local artisans, performer, craft food vendor, Kid Row artisan (with guardian) or STEM exhibitor who has questions about the application process for the 13th Annual Craft Lake City DIY Festival Presented By Harmons,” said Angela H. Brown, Executive Director of Craft Lake City. “Applying to a festival, especially for the first time, can be overwhelming. We want to be sure that the application process is not a barrier for anyone who wishes to apply this year.”

Application Assistance Days are an initiative of the Craft Lake City DIY Festival Inclusion Program, developed as part of the organization’s overall diversity and inclusion strategy. The goal of the Craft Lake City DIY Festival Inclusion Program is to support individuals from underrepresented and/or socially or economically excluded communities in order to provide all local makers with opportunities to creatively and economically thrive.

The Virtual Application Assistance Day for the 13th Annual Craft Lake City DIY Festival Presented By Harmons is open to all applicants who would like help applying for the Craft Lake City DIY Festival. Craft Lake City recommends applying early to avoid the last-minute rush. If local creatives do not have access to a computer, they may schedule a socially-distanced meeting to complete an online DIY Festival application by emailing amy@craftlakecity.com or calling 801-906-8521.

Applications for the 13th Annual Craft Lake City DIY Festival Presented By Harmons will remain open through April 8; participants will be announced April 30. The 13th Annual Craft Lake City DIY Festival Presented by Harmons will be held Fri., Aug. 13, Sat., Aug. 14 and Sun., Aug. 15. More information can be found online.
