What is the DIY Fest?

The Annual Craft Lake City DIY Festival is Utah’s largest local-centric art, music, science and technology festival. The DIY Fest features hundreds of local artisans, vintage vendors, foodies, youth entrepreneurs, performers, & STEM exhibitors over three days the second weekend of August.

Do I have to exhibit all 3 days of the DIY Festival to participate?

No, exhibitors will have the option to designate their preference in the DIY Festival application for participating all 3 days (Fri/Sat/Sun), 2 days (Fri/Sat), or 1 day (Sun-only).

Does Craft Lake City charge commission on sales?

No, Craft Lake City does not take any money from commission or sales of exhibitors’ products!

Are there scholarship opportunities available or ways to get help covering the application fee?

As part of Craft Lake City’s Diversity & Inclusion initiatives, we have options for folks experiencing financial difficulties to still be part of the DIY Fest! I live in a neighboring state, can I participate as an exhibitor or performer?

The Annual Craft Lake City DIY Festival is a highlight of Utah’s best creatives. As such, participants must currently reside & operate in the state of Utah.

What will the in-person DIY Fest look like?

The DIY Fest will feature over 300 Utah-based artisans, more than 50 local performers and dozens of festival food options over a three-day period. Social distancing and face masks are strongly recommended for all attendees, and volunteers. Craft Lake City staff and exhibitors will be required to wear face masks in the indoor areas of the DIY Fest and encouraged to wear them while outdoors.
